Photos taken on 17th November 2002 of the walk from near Echo Point to Rusdens Creek

Apsley Gorge DCP_1827      06.36

We found this old fence near the edge of the gorge. The amount of hard work to put up these fences is amazing. I've seen some on the edge of the gorges made entirely of hand split wood, with vertical palings held together with fencing wire.

Note the you-beaut gaiters Steve is wearing! You need something to keep the wet vegetation from your legs, unless you don't mind wet trousers flapping around your shins. They are also good when you wear shorts to stop stinging nettles from biting.
