Bursaria spinosa, blackthorn, in full flower outside the hut. This is an important plant for a metallic-blue coloured native wasp.

Wombat berry, a vine on the side of the road about three hundred metres further on from the hut.

Tree fern on the side of the road. These grow on well watered hillsides and gullies.

We managed to save Charlie from being engulfed by this particular triffid, which was making its move as this photo was taken.
